About Holtz Learning Centers

11Holtz Learning Centers provides career training to new and established law enforcement officers. Law enforcement professionals of all levels receive primary training and continuing education. Holtz Learning Centers helps keep them up-to-date on basic and advanced skills in corrections, criminal justice, and law enforcement.

Larry Holtz is CEO and president. Not only has he been a police officer, detective, and sergeant, but he also holds a JD from Temple University School of Law and has worked as an assistant county prosecutor and deputy attorney general. He now focuses on teaching, along with a number of other law professionals.

Police Supervision, Management and Law is one of the school’s most in-depth courses. It takes 152 or more hours to complete and prepares current officers for a promotion. Another course that is available to students is the preparation course for entry-level law enforcement exams. Finally, there is a preparation course for sheriff’s officers who are looking to earn a promotion. Students may register individually, or groups of law enforcement professionals can enroll for in-service training sessions throughout the year.
